Put up to four funds side by side with the same money going in. See what each could grow to, what it pays in dividends, what it costs, and how bumpy the ride tends to be.
How to read this. Every fund gets the same starting amount and the same paycheck deposits, and grows at its approximate 10-year average yearly return (roughly mid-2016 to mid-2026). These are sample figures for this prototype; the live site will refresh them from a market-data provider. The highest past return isn't automatically the best choice: the funds that grew fastest have also had the deepest drops, and a single sector fund is less diversified than a whole-market fund.
"Typical swings" is a general guide based on what each fund holds, not a measured statistic. Biggest historical drops will be added once live price history is connected. This is an educational tool, not financial advice. Read the FAQ.
